Suites and Art at Grand Lisboa Macau

Ruins of St. Paul in Macau

Okay, here’s another time I got lost in Macau.

We were only given thirty minutes to explore St. Paul’s. I walk through the last remaining remnants—the façade—of the church and through the mini museum. I then saw stairs to the fort and museum. It’s a long way up but there is an astounding view from there. There was also a museum which I didn’t have time to go see.

I took the wrong way down and ended up in the neighborhood—luckily we had just walked through that area or else I would have freaked out. I was 9 minutes late.

But I got to see what I wanted to see.

Red Market Macau

Though we missed the selling of livestock--that's live livestock--due to the holiday--and maybe thankful that we did--this was incredibly interesting.

Not sure what I would buy but there's so much to choose from!

That's pig's blood. It's supposed to be good.

Dreamworks Sheraton Macau Rooms

Sheraton Macau is the only property in Macau that is branding partners with a movie studio and making a foray into a truly family experience.

Check out these branded rooms!

They also come with a Wii and other fun things. There are activities for kids along with cabanas at the pool with Dreamworks characters.

So cool--I want to stay in one. Kids who?

MGM Macau Sculpture

I'm not sure if this qualifies as the free family entertainment mandate that Macau has for casinos but this was definitely interesting.

Some high rollers passed by and we asked if they could take our photos but they ignored us.

Yao Ming Memorabilia at Venetian Macau

Though this is in the middle of a walkway toward the Venetian shops, a lot of people don't stop at this scattered gallery. I couldn't get a photo without the glare for Yao Ming's handprints but there are several celebrities who have their prints showcased including Tiger Woods and George Foreman.
