I always thought that ordering a special menu on an airplane
would cost extra. In flying Cathay Pacific, it wasn’t. And I’m sure for other
airlines, there’s no charge being that there’s increased attention to food
allergies.
Along with recent TV and Movie selections—I watched Jack
Ryan, Frozen (for the umpteenth time), Lone Survivor, and Monuments Men to stave off the
extremely long flight—the food kept my restlessness at bay. Going into Macau
had more generous open-served snack selections than going out. There were apples
and Ruffles as opposed to just peanuts and biscuits.
If I had a choice though, I’d sit in one of those business
or first class pods—seemed much more relaxing than economy.
